We flippin love the ocean, travel and film-making so this site is a natural outlet for the things we are passionate about. Our mission at Video Surf Guide is to provide you, our readers/viewers, with content that is worth your time. The world is full of sick spots and we want to surf them, film them and let you know what they are like and how it was getting to them. In certain cases where we need to respect local riders we will need to keep locations a secret, but what’s really important is that you get to know what’s out there to be found so you get amped to surf, get off your couch and get out there!
Most of what we see and hear is from the perspective of pro bodyboarders and surfers and the majority of us can’t live the life of a pro so Video Surf Guide is here to show you surf travel for normal guys.

We’ll also be doing product and accommodation reviews so that you can get an idea of what’s good out there and get a better idea of what you might want to spend your hard earned cash. The pros punt the companies who sponsor them – and they should, it’s what they get paid for – but that doesn’t help the normal guy who needs an impartial review. So we’ll be bringing that to you, our readers.

We are bodyboarders – so if you’re a stand-up and have issues with that then we’re sorry you feel that way. Video Surf Guide is more about the travel and the surf spots than what you ride them on and we hope to have a diverse group of readers who understand that!
